Why did I put this up?

Sometimes I don't respond and people get confused and think its because I am avoiding the answer or sometimes a person doesn't understand that they might be on my ignore list.. and they continuously have a monologue with themselves then when I don't respond, think that they have a point.

If I don't respond to you its for one of several reasons:

I missed it

I totally missed your post. I am involved in several forums and I don't have the time to read every single post put to me. I generally like to respond, and like to substantiate my posts by I do sometimes miss them. If you feel I have done this to your response and you are wanting a response from me.. please PM with a link to the thread and I will do so as soon as I am able

Personal insults or personal references

If you are asking or telling me about me or my cat or my cats budgie.. chances are I will completely ignore the whole post. Even if there is something relevant in it. Most of my intentional ignores are because of personal references. What happens is someone doesn't have a point, so they start attacking the personal character of the person. This is a logical fallacy.

You are on my ban list

Below is a list of all the people I have on my ignore list. Very few people make it onto my ignore list and you have to be a very special kind of person to get there. Normally people who continuously resort to personal insults, lie a lot or who are just miff people in general end up on the list. Sometimes just annoying people end up on the list but that's pretty rare and for a short time only. I don't put people on my ignore list because I disagree with their opinion (I have to put this in because a good couple of the trolls out there lie and give that as a reason).

My current ignore list

Phronesis - Sock puppets, non-stop ad hominin personal attacks, pushes an intelligent design agenda in the science sections, just a generally unpleasant person for me to have to tolerate. Continues to respond and attack my personality even though he knowns his on my ignore list. Class A.

Dixie – Intentionally baits me. Class C. My opinion of her got upgraded dramatically with one of her well written posts.

Arbiter – Siffest person on mybroadband. I have no time for this kinda dumb. Class A. He wants attention!!!

Alan – He used to have potential, now he is just a Republican apologetic. His posts are very repetitive. Class C.

Good Life – All I can say is… Good Grief. Nothing of value can be gained from his posts. Class B.

Aeron – Not worth reading its posts. Class B.

Pitbull – The fights got out of hand, I think we both become better people if I ignore him (though I will sometimes click on “view this post”). Class C

Stallbal – A sockpuppet of Pitbulls. Class C.

W1z4rd – Class F, He made a webpage!!!! :D

Sackboy – Class C.. I cant handle the way he is a Russian killer apologetic. Has some value in his other posts though.

Troll Classes

Not everyone sucks at the same level so I have a personal trolling class system. It uses my own fuzy logic and is based on personality + contribution levels to the forum.

Class A – Toxic people. These people have major issues. Keep your kids away from them!

Class B – Someone who intentionally tries to cause trouble in the forum and seldom offer anything of value to the forum.

Class C – Someone I have a personal problem with, but still offers value to others in the forum.

Class F – Completely happy moron :D F For fail!
